Communication Intern

ROC Race is searching for someone in the communications field to train with the ROC Race Communications Manager in a number of different manners, including but not limited to the following: acting as liaison between customers and ROC Race, communicating with customers clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing, addressing customer issues and ensuring effective and long-term problem resolution via phone, email, mail and social media, maintaining a balance between ROC Race policy and customer benefit in decision making.

Desired Skills:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Drive to succeed in answering all questions and concerns effectively and in a timely manner
- Attention to detail
- Flexible schedule – minimum availability is 20 hours per week
- Previous experience with customer relations
- Project an active and social lifestyle
- Maintain professional conduct at all times

Required Skills/ Characteristics:
- Presently enrolled in college and able to receive internship credit
- Punctuality to office commitments
- Positive attitude, outgoing demeanor, and eagerness to help out in whatever capacity is needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly and efficiently
